Applicants are encouraged to apply to Gauteng College of Nursing to study for the Nursing Diploma in 2023 at one of the faculty’s campuses:

• Bonalesedi Campus.
To successfully apply and be considered for the training, please note the following:
• You must register a profile in the system before you can submit a request.
• You must be a South African citizen residing in Gauteng Province.
• Must be in possession of one of the following diplomas: a higher certificate, a higher national certificate, currently in grade 12 or a national certificate of primary vocational health
• Applications must be submitted to the GPG Professional Job Center system no later than August 14; Applications after the deadline will not be accepted
• The certified documents will be uploaded into the system, but you will need to bring the supporting documents to the recruiting center if you are shortlisted.
• Any application delivered by hand or sent by email will not be accepted, all applications must be made online.
The following subject criteria are required:
• Senior Certificate: English HG D or SG C, Biology HG D or SG C, Mathematics HG D or SG C and an M score of 17
• Senior National Certificate: English Level 4, Life Sciences Level 4, Mathematics Level 4 or Math Skills Level 5 and an APS of 27 or above (life orientation counts for half of the score)
• National vocational training certificate: 50% in main subjects (English, first additional language, literacy in mathematics / mathematics, life orientation) and 60% in vocational subjects (South African health system, public health, body and human and community spirit first aid)
• Current grade 12 students must meet the National Senior Certificate requirements on their grade 11 final results.

• Sign an agreement with the Ministry of Health
• To attend conferences
• Be prepared to participate in Work Integrated Learning (WIL), which includes shifts and work on holidays, weekends and nights at hospitals and clinics in the Gauteng Health Department in the United States. within the program requirements.
