APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM 2022/23: BASIC TRAFFIC OFFICER DIPLOMA

The Department of Safety, Security and Community Liaison is inviting applications for an Apprentice Traffic Officer Diploma which aims to equip young unemployed people with traffic enforcement knowledge and skills. Preference will be given to individuals from previously disadvantaged communities who meet the following requirements:

•Grade 12 certificate
•At least a code B driver’s license
•South African citizen
•no criminal record
•Applicants must be 18 and no older than 35.
•Fair and appropriate.

Location all 9 province

NB:

The Department will conduct criminal background checks. Successful applicants will be required to enter into a 12 month contract with the Department and upon completion; students will receive a basic traffic officer qualification: NQF 4.

The DCSSL will verify all qualifications and the driver’s license of each candidate.

Any application sent by fax or e-mail will not be considered.

 

All applications must be submitted on the new Z83 form, available from any public service and must be accompanied by a detailed CV, as well as certified copies of diplomas, driver’s license and proof of identity. identity (less than six months old). Applicants are requested to complete the new Z83 form in full, even if a CV is attached.
